Gallery Crawl Detail Printable Version
Last Saturday night hundreds of visitors climbed aboard trolleys in Davidson and Cornelius and traveled the route of the April is for Arts Gallery Crawl. They were treated to shows from regional artists, many of whom will be exhibiting in this weekend's Art on the Green in Davidson. Seventeen different venues opened their doors to guests and artists alike who enjoyed refreshments from places such as the new Davidson Chocolate Company that will be opening soon in Davidson Commons. "We loved the shows and enjoyed the great variety of artists," commented Margaret Boggs, one of the many happy Crawlers. The Crawl is part of the month long April is for Arts in North Mecklenburg celebration, a collaboration between Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, and the Arts & Science Council North.
